At JukeBox Music Ltd, the safety and well-being of our students and teachers are of paramount importance. When lessons are conducted at students' homes, parents/guardians play a crucial role in creating a secure and appropriate learning environment. The following guidelines outline the responsibilities of parents/guardians in ensuring the safety of their child during lessons:

7.1 Suitable Teaching Location
Parents/guardians are responsible for designating a suitable teaching location within their home. It is essential that the chosen location adheres to the following criteria:

-
Not a Child's Bedroom: Lessons should not be conducted in a child's bedroom, as
this environment may not be conducive to maintaining appropriate boundaries
and privacy.
-
Distraction-Free Zone: The teaching area should be free from distractions,
excessive noise, and interruptions to ensure a focused learning experience.
-
Adequate Lighting and Temperature: The teaching area should be cool and have
proper lighting to create a comfortable and conducive learning environment.

7.2 Presence of an Adult

-
A parent/guardian or an appointed adult, such as a nanny, helper, or grandparent, must be present in the home during the lesson. Their presence serves as an additional layer of protection for the student and teacher.
-
The adult should be within earshot of the lesson, ensuring that they can readily intervene or provide assistance if needed.

7.3 Accessibility and Visibility
If the teaching space is not a communal area, such as a kitchen or dining room, doors
leading to the teaching area should remain open during the lesson. This openness helps maintain visibility and accessibility for parents/guardians or appointed adults.

7.4 Prohibition of Alone Time
Children must never be left alone in the house with the teacher. An adult presence is required throughout the entire duration of the lesson.

7.5 Privacy and Boundaries
